Whistler Mountain Bike Park
Fast becoming one of North America's mountain biking meccas, Whistler and its surrounding area boasts hundreds of single track trails for all ages and levels of ability. Bike rentals, guided tours and lessons are available from many shops around town, as are maps. When looking for moderate to difficult riding, there's the West Side Trail System. Other great biking areas include Green Lake/Parkhurst, Ancient Cedars/Cougar Mountain and Whistler Interpretive Forest where there are a number of trails you can follow.

Golf in Whistler
The Chateau Whistler Golf. ClubCarved out of the slopes of the Coast Mountain range, with elevation changes of more than 400 ft. overall, this magnificent golf course is generous to the eye and provides enough fun and challenge for everyone. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and opened in 1993, the par 72, 18-hole course offers a golf opportunity unmatched in the region.
By allowing nature to dictate the path without constraints of commercial influence, the course traverses creeks, ponds, stands of ancient Douglas fir and granite rock faces, which testify to the fact that this magnificent course follows closely the natural state of the rugged terrain.
Nicklaus North Golf Club. This par 71, 18-hole course winds along a gentle valley floor offering you a spectacular setting as your golfing skills are tested to the fullest. Just minutes from cobblestone walkways and street side cafes of the resort town of Whistler, Nicklaus North stands out as one of the great courses in North America. It's no wonder this is only one of a few rare golf courses in the world bearing Jack Nicklaus' name.
The Whistler Golf Club. Stand on the first tee of the Whistler Golf Club and instantly you'll understand why Arnold Palmer chose it as the location for his first Canadian design. Snow-capped peaks surround the course in all directions, ancient cedars and majestic fir trees line the fairways, winding streams, nine lakes and white sand bunkers punctuate perfectly manicured greens and an occasional black bear sauntering across a fairway is not an uncommon site.
The Whistler Golf Club is a par 72, 18 hole golf course that easily exceeds the expectations of the most discriminating golfer. In 2000 the Whistler Golf Club received an extensive $2.2 million renovation to ensure this 6676-yard course continues its legacy of excellence.
Big Sky Golf and Country Club.
Just 25-minutes north of Whistler lies Big Sky Golf and Country Club. Tucked beside the massive Mount Currie, Big Sky features an outstanding 18-hole golf experience with 360-degree mountain views. Designed by Robert Cupp, Big Sky features bent grass on tees, fairway and greens, providing the finest in golf course conditioning. Rated as "Runner-up" in the category of Best New Canadian Golf Course in 1994.
Facilities include a double-ended grass tee driving range, seven practice bunkers and two full-length golf holes built for instruction only.
